Tracki’s distinguishing feature is its size and weight. It is almost a third the size of other GPS trackers of its segment. This is because of its tiny 600mAh Li-ion battery making it weigh just 48g. It comes with a host of useful features like worldwide coverage, 30 days battery backup, Wi-Fi tracking, Magnet mount and lifetime warranty to name a few. It has proven its suitability as a reliable portable GPS device to track persons, things, pets, equipments and so on.
Tracki Monthly Fees
Tracki requires a monthly subscription plan because it is an active GPS tracker providing real time location updates. At present it is one of the most affordable real time GPS trackers you can buy with monthly fee starting from as low as $9.95. The device cost is also lower than most of its competitors.
There are 4 types of subscription plans to choose from. You can choose to monthly, every 5 months, every year or every 2 years. While most GPS trackers offer different subscription plans with varying update frequencies or ping rates, Tracki sadly gives only a minimum of 1 minute update rate with all of its plans.

Tracki GPS Plans FAQs
There is not activation or cancellation fee. Just the month to month subscription plan.
Tracki treats each tracker unit separately even if they are tied to the same account. So yes you need to pay a monthly fee for each GPS tracker you use.
The monthly charges are the same whether you use it within US or internationally.
Tracki uses its own SIM card which cannot be swapped with your own SIM.
Conclusion
if you are looking for a faster ping rate Tracki GPS tracker may not be the device that will work for you. The good thing is that Tracki does not charge any activation, roaming or cancellation fee. Plus with its 1 month plan you can cancel your subscription whenever you want.
There is a limit of 30 free texts (at least for the monthly plan). So if a button push or Geo-fence crossing has three text contacts when these happen you will use 3 of the available 30 texts. So text notices can quickly use up the free text budget. Either you must limit texts to say only the SOS button or you must pay more per month to allow more texts. Emails notices appear to be free in any amount. You don’t see this hidden cost until you actually sign up. Tracki is not transparent on their plan features and costs. You can’t find on their web site the cost information for different subscription options and this text issue is never mentioned. Still like the device but this was an unwelcome limitation.
