An avid golfer always finds time to hone their skills no matter where they are. If you happen to move around a lot and love to play a game of golf wherever you go, it would be very convenient to have the course maps and addresses of all the golf courses around you. Using the Izzo Swami Course List search you can get a list of over 38000 mapped courses worldwide.
This post shows how to get a list of all the courses anywhere in the world using Izzo Course Search tool. It also gives a step by step guide on how to update firmware and course files on your Izzo Swami device.
Izzo Swami Course List Search
1. Go to Izzo Swami Product Support page. Click Course Search.
2. Select your Swami Model, Country and fill in the course name if you know.
3. If you want to get a list of all the courses in any country, leave the course name field blank and click Search. The search result will give you a list of all the course names and their addresses.
This works for all the Swami devices including the Golf watch. Please note that Swami 1500 works only in North America and Swami 3000 is supported in North America and UK only.
Izzo Swami Firmware and Course File Update Tool
Firmware Update
- Go to Izzo Swami Product Support page. Scroll down the page to find your Swami model. This example shows how to do course list and firmware update for Swami 6000 model.
- Click the Update Tool button to download the Izzo Update utility.
- Once downloaded, launch the tool and connect your Izzo Swami device to your computer via USB cable. Make sure your device’s battery level is at least 50% before proceeding.
- Click Update Firmware and the tool will download the required files on your device.
- After the downloading has completed disconnect your Swami device. It will auto update and the screen will turn off. Please turn on your Swami and reconnect to the computer.
Course File Update
- After updating the firmware, reconnect the Swami to your computer and click Update Course File.
- This will download the course files on your device. The process may take several minutes to complete.
- Once downloading the course files has finished, restart your Swami by turning off and turning back on.
Izzo Swami 6000 Course Recognition
Turn on your Izzo Swami 6000 and select Play from the Start Menu options. At this point Swami 6000 will search the golf courses near you that are supported. If your course update was successful it will list all the courses in the area with the help of GPS.
When using the device for the first time, course recognition may take a few minutes depending on your current location and access to GPS satellites.

On their product support page they mention ‘If you do not see the course you need, please email sales@izzo.com, or call us at 1-800-777-7899. We will verify if your desired course is in our database. If we don’t have the course map you are looking for, we will do our best to get the course mapped for you. Course maps are only available in the countries listed below, this also applies to new mapping requests.’
